Kelven Johnson - Director of CampUcan - The Ohio State Convention Of Baptist in Ohio - A Ministry for Boys

Kelven Johnson is the Director of the 2023 CampUCan youth camp. A camp sponsored by The Ohio State Convention of Baptist in Ohio. CampUCAN is a one-week summer camp experience for young men age 9-15 from urban areas in Ohio. Exciting programs, compassionate leaders, and a retreat setting provide an unforgettable opportunity for campers to encounter the love of God, hear the gospel message, and form life-long relationships.
He is also the founder of Community-U-Can which is a nonprofit organization that focuses on servicing its community through the mediums of education and training. In 2025, Kelven will have obtained his licensing to work with those who are battling mental health issues as mental health is a topic that he is very passionate about. Presently, Kelven is establishing a 10-city tour visiting local recreation centers throughout the state of Ohio to recruit members for youth advocacy and service through the Community-U-Can platform. He is an author, a father, a husband and a first responder. Kelven’s first book, U-Can, will be released this November. You can pre-order the book on the website. Kelven enjoys cooking.
